Aid Verifier Performance Qualification Standard Workshop

THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR DIVISIONs 6 AND 13

Bring your own lunch, ODU = ODU Long

This is a 6 hour mandatory workship that meets on segment of the requirements to become a qualified Aids to Navigation Verifier in District 7. The training includes the following topics:

Introduction, Preparation and Tools of the trade
Charts and Nautical Publication
Introduction to Private Aids to Navigation (PATONS)
Introduction to Federal Short Range Aids to Navigation (ATONS)
Proper completion of applicable forms

Auxiliary member interested in qualifying must have or is in the process of completing pre-requisites the include: AP or BQ status pending, with completion of an ABS or BS&S Boating Course on record, TCT every 5 years, with the 1 hour TCT refresher annually, and ICS 100 & 700 and Mandated Training.
